We've stayed at Twitchen Farm many times over the past few years and have loved every stay. It's a nice quiet corner of Devon that we love to visit. The farm itself is lovely and spacious and it is so quiet and peacfull in Challacombe that we love to go there just to get away from the hustle and bustle... More

A very pleasant and quiet retreat, ideal for all types of walking and horse treking also a short drive to many resorts along the Devon and Cornwall coastline. The owners of Twitchens are very helpful and informative about all the things you want to know regarding local activities the breakfast every morning is varied acording to your personal tastes. More

We are always given a warm welcome and nothing seems to be too much of a problem for our hosts, who thankfully are also walking encyclopaedias and ordnance survey maps of... More

Have stayed here twice now over a period of 4 years. Nothing had changed. The room is exactly the same & still looks tired. Bathroom door would not lock & now smells slightly as if drains are blocked or possibly from damp The breakfast is ok although to my mind a cooked breakfast should come with a least 2 sausages... The views are lovely, both of the surrounding farmland and the moor. There are some great walks including a very pleasant one around the farm and down to the local pub which has good food. My stay was very relaxing, everything was very easy going. There was a nice choice of wholesome food for breakfast ,well cooked and tasty. More
