We chose the Citadel for a special short holiday to celebrate our joint 60th birthdays with our 2 daughters + husbands. As they have 3 double rooms, this meant we took them all for three nights, using the Citadel as a base for exploring the glorious border country.
The stay was superb, meeting and exceeding our hopes for the trip....

We are very reluctantly returning from the wonderful Citadel, we were very much in need of a real break away from the every day stresses of urban life and the Citadel didn't disappoint .
