Great place to stay for the money. Breakfash was one of the best we have had on our 17 days away from home. Staff was very frendly. Love the area. Hotel looked a little tired. Needs to be fully gone over. Food was great. Coffee was so so. Cheese cake of the day is very nice. Enjoyed some different ones....

Rooms were average, but the staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. Edzell is a good base for some beautiful cycling (or walks). overall was acceptable value for money. Could be better if they spent some money on new decor, but no complaints

The staff and owner make you feel very welcome and are very friendly. The food and service are excellent. Another plus for me was no juke box or loud music. The bedrooms are very clean although the room I was in, looked very tired and could do with redocoreating. If it was not for this I would have scored it...
