We have just returned from the Kinnaber bed and breakfast and we really couldn't fault our stay. We stayed in the blue room which was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Jim and Ann made us feel very welcome, thank you again. More

A lovely house, well appointed rooms and very welcoming hosts. We just had one night stay but were well impressed - the breakfast was also of a very good standard - good quality cereals with fresh fruit, followed by either cooked breakfast or salmon and scrambled eggs - hard to beat! Attractive house, tastefully furnished. Large room and superb bathroom. First rate breakfast. Very welcoming and accommodating. What more can we say - other than probably the best B&B we've stayed in. More

Our stay in Kinnaber was very pleasant, Jim and Ann really did everything to make our stay most enjoyable, They were always around to assist with any questions or requests we had and a good local knowledge for those not familiar with the area. Accomodation was excellent, nice light spacious room with beautiful bathroom. The garden area to the rear... More

A 5 star B&B and one of the best we stayed in during our travels in the UK. Anne & Jim were excellent hosts and we enjoyed their Scottish hospitality. Hopefully we can return some day to this scenic area and would definitely stay in Kinnaber. We would recommend a stay in this very comfortable and welcoming home without hesitation.... More

Very clean room with everything you could want. Jim and Ann were very kind and couldn't do enough for us. They booked us in for dinner at the Tuck Inn where we had a homely good value meal. Ann's smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast is to die for! More

Jim and Anne made our stay in delightful Edzell even more memorable. We based ourselves at Kinnaber to explore family history in the surrounding areas. Anne has set a standard for breakfasts to which I can only aspire! Vegemite on toast and weet bix no longer cuts it with the family. Edzell itself has much to offer with its own... More

We traveled all the way from Hong Kong to Edzell of Scotland for a course. At the beginning, we were worried because we failed to book a room in the hotel where the course was held. We arrived Aberdeen on a rainy and cool August morning, feeling tired and cold. However, when we arrived Kinnaber, our hearts lighted up. It... More

We loved the rooms - very airy and bright. The bathrooms were especially nice and very roomy. Thanks to Jim and Anne for making our stay in Edzell a memorable one. Anne served a wonderful breakfast also. We would love to go back and stay more than one night. They have a wonderful back yard to relax in. Thanks from... More

We spent a holiday weekend at Kinnaber, using it as a base to explore Angus. Location-wise it is perfect, a short drive from Montrose and the coast. The breakfast was great, and our hosts very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we're in the area. More
