Spent 3 days with Alick and Peggie, great hosts and great B&B. Lovely little village with a great pub, good to see that not all pubs have been turned into charaterless chain pubs. As I think one of the other reviewers mentioned, they serve a wonderful breakfast.

For anyone wishing to experience the quintessential essence of Britain We highly recommend this lovely cottage. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms and really had the most relaxing vacation in years! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in February 2005. The owners, Peggy & Alick, were excellent hosts, not only were they very friendly but Alick’s breakfasts were out of this world (using locally grown produce). The B&B has been tastefully decorated by Peggy, with many of the rooms featuring her paintings.
