We enjoyed 2 days & nights at Carole's: hers is the last place on the road to the El Junque rainforest, but remember that this road past her place has been closed for most of 10 years due to a landslide. In a word, paradise. Upon arrival, we met Carole tending to her blooming backyard full of ginger and bananas. There is a pool out there somewhere swallowed by the jungle.
