We needed ground floor accommodation for one night near to Alnwick. The White House proved to be just right. We had a very warm, friendly welcome, and help with the luggage. Could only stay for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Lovely spacious room with all conveniences, warm service and excellent value. Right in centre of lovely village with plenty of pubs and riverside walks.

Stayed here on our recent walking holiday and had a great nights stay and a friendly welcome.... Even in our wet state! Room is excellent beating many top rated hotels. Breakfast is a welcome change from the usual cooked breakfast and served in your room .... Nice touch! Would recommend to anyone staying in the area

A great find, brilliant location, room and en suite furnished to very high spec, fluffy towels and cotton bedding. Great feature having your own front door!
