Points of Interest

1. Summit of Cone Peak

The summit. If there is enough snow you can jump from the summit rock pile to a drift below safely... fun. Views East towards the Sisters.

2. Skiing the Backside

It's possible to take a quick run down the backside and then hike back up to the ridgeline. It'll give you a little more skiing action.

3. Skiing Down

Find some open snow slopes and head on down. Tip, if you follow this gps track you'll find yourself in a stream gully that is shaded from the sun and may allow snow late into the season, thereby allowing you ski further down towards your vehicle.
