Points of Interest

1. Parking

Allthough the satellite imagery doesn't show it here, there is a road and a parking lot at the trailhead for this beautiful boardwalk. It was constructed in 2006 so the satellite imagery currently available for this region is a little dated.

2. Boardwalk Views

Here are some photos of the boardwalk through the woods. This boardwalk is 1,700 feet long. Try to imagine the effort and amount of wood it took to create this.

3. Viewing Blind

Here is the memorial covered viewing blind of Homer Campbell. Take the time to step inside with a camera and take some photos of the wildlife of Cabell Marsh.

4. Cabell Marsh Trail Connection

Here you are now connected to the Cabell Marsh Trail. If you'd like you can continue on around the marsh (use my Cabell Marsh Guide) or you can turn around and head back to your car.
