Points of Interest

1. Parking

There is plenty of parking in this long parking lot. Make sure to read the historical informative signs in the area as well.

2. Walking Path

This is just a nice walking trail from the parking lot to a view of Sand Island. You can return the way you came as I did or head into the woods for a trip back through the trees.

3. Sand Island

Here you can wade across the shallows out to Sand Island. Note: The Oregon Park service notes this place as "clothing optional".

4. Beach

Relax at this nice beach on a nice sunny day. When you are done walking around the park take a dip in the cool Columbia.
