Day 1 Transavia offers cheap flights to Valencia, as does Ryanair. The airport is a quite a distance from the city, but easy accesable
Stay in this lovely hotel with very elaborate breakfast, at the edge of the citycentre
After checking in explore the city for the first time. visit a nice bar at Plaza la Reina. A fantastic valentian custom is to eat pincho's, small bites on a stick which you can take from the bar and afterwards the waiter will count the sticks to see how much you have to pay.
Near the hotel you can find a big 'Mercadona' a supermarket where you can also do some shopping
19:30 In the evening you can visit a Flamenco show. Don't go for the food, though...
Day 2 after a nice elaborate breakfast go on a guided tour through the city.
10:30 First visit the Jardin del Turia, then the convent of Corpus Christi, make your way to the old building of the University.
This beautiful building houses the ceramics museum nowadays. The gate is really pretty and you can see all kinds of architectural styles.
Inside the palace is fully furnished.
The outside alone is a feast for the eyes!
We walk over to the Plaza la Reina, of course first taking a picture of the Redonda.
Crossing the square we get to the cathedral. Next to the cathedral there is a mock up of the Cathedral, made in bronze. This gives you a nice insight of the building.
Do visit the inside and admire all the art and splendour. A nice mixture of styles.
Also visit the The Miguelete Tower

13:00h. After the tour of the city, go for a nice picnic in Jardin de Turia.
After that you can of course choose to go to the nearby beach or to Oceanografic, but you can also tour the city a bit:
14:30 Take the bus into town again and get of at Plaza Ayuntamiento.
Take a peek inside, the architecture is really something else. Next to the station you will find the arena, you can also take a peek at that, if you're interested or intrigued by bull fighting.
After that start a walk through the city and take in all the vibes
15:00 h. You have to climb at least one of the gates of course!
16:00 Now called the museum of Corpus Christi, where you can learn all about the feast of Corpus Christi, held annually in the city
Of course vist the museum where you can get an idea of the earliest signs of men living in the area.

Have a nice 'tinto de Verano' at the terrace of this cafe, to catch your breath after all this sightseeing.
After that: return to the hotel and get dressed for a night on the town, something they can do very well in Valencia!
Day 3 After the wild night it still is a good idea to get up early, have a good and harty breakfast and get on your way again.
A place not to be missed to get that authentic mediterranean vibe.
On sundays, outside the marketplace there is a big flea market, perfect place for bargains
What a beautiful building! Try to get here as early as possible, when there are no crowds and when the light is perfect to make some fantastic pictures
After a last stroll around the market and this beautiful building, getting a hint of the city, it is probably time to catch the bus back to the airport.
