Not the best hotel in town, but okay breakfast and location are good. Sometimes they have good deals (if you don't mind a rude staff), the rooms are pretty, although some are small (first time we had a foldable toilet in a hotel bathroom..)
For this hotel: get off the vaporetto at 'Fondamente Nuove' from where you can walk up to the hotel (when you get here by train it really is a 2 minute walk to the hotel). You get to see a different side of Venice, more everyday life, locals.

Take it back to the hotel to get it to roomtemperature.
