Lots of Tips: Where to go, what to pack, what to do.
Link to a nice article about your first few days in Thailand
Nice, but very costly for what it is. I suggest D&D INN. Less expensive, less noise.
Great place to stay. Less noise and less expensive than Buddy Lodge.
Go here in BKK. It was fun and we saw things that I have never seen before. We could touch almost any animal and they didn't even have big cages, like here. I don't like zoos anywhere else. The animals were so happy too. I have never seen as much action at a zoo. (not just standing behind a big cage)
Museum attached to this is rather cheesy, but the river and bridge is worth a visit. When we booked a trip from BKK, we chose to go to the floating market too. This was a nice one and we liked it much more than the one in BKK.
This was nice and very expensive. There are a few others around the world as well. We liked it, the atmosphere and drinks were great, but overpriced.
We loved this hotel and it is right in the middle of the action in Patong. It is a little loud at time because the hotel has live music at night for their guests. Just make sure you get a room that doesn't face the courtyard. If you want a more relaxing experience, just go to another beach in Phuket. There are so many great options here.
This is where we went to a wedding. Very expensive. $300US a night. It was beyond beautiful, but I would just visit or stay one night. We just went to the wedding there
Take a tour from Phuket that goes to James Bond Island, Monkey Beach and that you Kayak through the caverns where you have to duck down to get it and it is beautiful inside. This is hands-down the best tour that we ever took in Thailand!
You must go. About a 20 minute walk up stairs. Well worth seeing the sunset here!
Hands down the best place to stay in Phi Phi. Pay the extra for a room that walks into the pool. We loved it. It was a bit expensive, but well worth the price for the room and area. It is in the middle of the island and very quiet as well. Something you can't find everywhere in Phi Phi.
Stayed here on another trip. This way we had our own bungalow. It was very nice and a lot less expensive
This is the BEST dive shop I have ever been to. Laura and Hugo are the best! If you are going to dive on Phi Phi--GO HERE!
This is a bar on the main strip in Phi Phi. Nice drink specials. Right across the way from a great bar for later night buckets and specials.
Someone in our wedding party stayed here on Phi Phi and loved it. Very basic, but very cheap
I love the art here!
We LOVED this place in Samui. Kind of expensive, but way worth it! Would stay again and again. Have your own bungalow/villa, right off the beach, Also walk down the beach and find a place to eat right on it. So awesome.
It was nice, but not a big deal. I would probably skip this and just go to some palaces in BKK.
