Two week vacation across Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia
Well located, quiet, great service, hotel suite like an apartment, well appointed.
Small city on the Mekong river with beautiful temples, good restaurants, museum, convenient to visiting the hill tribes.
Great hotel -- an oasis!
Small city with great hiking, rafting and kayaking nearby.
Eco lodge. Somewhat spartan, but the best of the lot locally.
A bustling city with something for everyone. Skip the water puppet theater, but stroll around the lake and visit the markets that surround it. Everything is negotiable.
Wonderful 5-star hotel in a great location. Convenient to the busy city market but quiet and restful. The pool area and bar were fabulous. Rooms were richly appointed. Like the Strand in Yangon or the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok.
Launching point for visiting Angkor Wat and other amazing temples.
Our favorite hotel on the trip. Like the Oriental, crossed with a W hotel. Extraordinary service, but somehow hip as well. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing--a welcome respite from the unusual meals we'd been having on the rest of the trip. We couldn't bear to leave.
