Great things to see and do

  • 1. Gatlinburg Sky Lift
    Gatlinburg Sky Lift, Gatlinburg

    This was an inexpensive trip up a mountain. Once up at the top, you can enjoy beautiful views of the town and beyond. A picture is taken near the top, so be ready, however you will be told right before it is taken. You can purchase a copy of the picture at the gift shop at the top as well. The only disapointment was that there was no hiking area at the top.

  • 2. Smoky Mountain Brewery
    Smoky Mountain Brewery, Gatlinburg

    Nothing but great things to say about this place. The service was excellent, the food was good, and served quickly. The beer was delicious.

  • 3. Thomas Kincaid Gatlinburg Gallery

    This was an awesome gallery, with excellent staff to tell you about the different paintings. We really enjoyed visiting this gallery.

  • 4. Cades Cove Loop Road
    Cades Cove Loop Road, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee

    This was an 11 mile auto tour loop through a section of the GSM National Park, near Gatlinburg area. We were able to get some really great pictures of the beautiful scenery, birds and animals. This spot has a lot of history too. A booklet is available for a dollar donation which describes each of the historical points along the auto tour.

  • 5. Pepper Palace

    This store offered a wide variety of all things related to peppers. Many dips and salsas were out for sampling. If you enjoy cooking, you'll like this store.
