Get into surfing with some surf lessons at Kuta or soak up the sun in a deck chair on the golden sand of idyllic Mengiat Beach. Keep it simple and sample locally-made Luwak Coffee in the Jatiluwih rice fields– it’s the world’s most expensive caffeine in a cup!
Shop at Seminyak Square, Kuta Square or the shops along Jalan Raya. Have fun haggling at the Kuta Art Market – cheap doesn’t mean unreasonable so keep things fair and light-hearted. For fine dining try the set menu and romantic setting of The Living Room in Kuta. Enjoy decadent soft shell crab salad at Sarong and Ginger Crème Brûlée at Sardine. Party on the beach at Double Six, wet your wine palette at Ku De Ta or enjoy a cheeky Mango Pomegranate Mojito at Mama San.
