Siquijor Island Attractions: What to do in Siquijor Island
"I had a visit at the butterfly garden which is run but a lovely guy and his family. Unfortunately I wasn't in the position to donate some money but I hope that more people will visit and have some cash with them to support this project which is still a working in progress."
"Like the other reviewers, we fell in love with Paliton Beach.
You pay a small amount for snorkelling. Ordinary bathing is free. I think you can buy cold drinks but take my advice and bring your own. There's a beautiful cove before you get to P Beach itself. The walk from the main road is a j..."oy, by the way.

"They say that you should ask permission, respectfully, before circling the old Balete tree. I have no problem with this. Daft though it sounds, I go along with such local beliefs.

If it has a spirit, it's a benevolent one, and I'm sure the same is true of our lovely Balete tree in Siquijor.
Siquijor's traditions aren't so far from ours.
By the way, the lack of 'facilities' is a good thing. Honestly. You won't need them for the short time you'll be there. God forbid any 'improvements' to the site.
