The greatest of Jamaican great houses, the Rose Hall Great House has a story with all the elements of an engaging novel. Built in 1770 by John Palmer and his wife, it eventually became the residence of their grandnephew, John Rose Palmer. In 1820, Palmer married Annee, a beautiful but feisty English girl. Little did John know that his young wife possessed “black magic” powers that would eventually lead to his demise. During her reign as mistress of the plantation, Annee did away with two more husbands and countless lovers. “The White Witch of Rose Hall” has fascinated generations, and even today, there are those who claim to see Annee passing through the Great House. A candle-lit evening tour of the Rose Hall Great House is a must for visitors to Montego Bay. Your guided exploration of the former home of Jamaica’s White Witch, Annee Palmer, includes captivating and chilling stories of love, murder and mystery skillfully told by knowledgeable guides. You’re sure to feel goose bumps as these eerie tales come to life in this grand estate, where ghost sightings have been reported over the years. Tours also give historic insight into this grandest of Jamaican great houses, now beautifully restored with 18th-century decor and antiques. To conclude this fascinating adventure, you can visit the dungeon, now transformed into a tavern called Annee’s Pub. Many visitors find that the famous rum cocktail, known as “Witches Brew” helps banish the spirits of ghosts or black magic they sense still lingering in the mansion.

We were so pleased to have done this tour. Shana was a truly wonderful guide and told us all the gripping stories associated with Rose Hall. Possibly because we went at midday (a quiet time) we were fortunate enough to be given a private tour which made it very special. We were absolutely fascinated by the rich history, not only of Rose Hall but also of the wider area as well as the brutal slave trade, the plantations and Great Houses, and of Jamaican culture. We learnt SO much. We left with a lot to reflect on and talk about. Don't just sit on the beach, GO TO ROSE HALL!

Great day on the course with friends from work. What otherwise would have been a regular day at the office was made great by our caddies Steven and Cecil who both did a fantastic job. Get these guys to help you out and have some fun.

Amazing course with incredible views. Shawnee was our caddy and she knew every yardage at every moment. The beverages were cold and the weather was great. Highly recommend White Witch golf course.

We had the most incredible time at Cinnamon Hill! I'm not a patient golfer so we paid the rider fee for me while my husband golfed 18 holes. We met another couple at the driving range and they old had one golfer as well so they joined us and we had the best time. Our caddie Wesley was top notch! He shared so much history and culture with us. You could tell he really takes pride in his course and his job. He knew everything there was to know about each hole, each green and he was always available to open beers for us girls riding along. He knocked coconuts out of trees for us and broke them open so we could enjoy coconut water. He got us Jamaican apples (otaheite) out of a tree near the green of one of the prettiest holes on the course. He was always professional but by the end he felt like a true friend!

We had a great trip to Dunn’s River Falls with Alex! We left from our hotel in Montego Bay and had a very pleasant and educational drive to St. Ann’s parish. On the way back we stopped for food and souvenirs. Alex was very patient with our group and was great with our 1 yr old. Overall it was a great trip and would definitely recommend!

Collin and his team are the best!! I originally found Collin’s company through Instagram and reached out and booked my transfer to and from the Iberostar Grand with ease.

He made us feel right at home, the second we landed! He was communicating with me the entire time and made it very easy on my end.

We are going to be coming back in May of 2025 for our wedding and will 100% be using Collin’s Adventure Tour’s when we are back and to do some excursions!

I highly recommend his services if you are ever in Jamaica. It was a breeze getting picked up and dropped off at the airport and we are really looking forward to doing a few excursions in the future.

    The Best Vibes!!

Steven Blake and Rasta Taxi should be considered a national, Jamaican treasure. From the time he picked us up from the resort in Montego Bay til arriving in Kingston, he ensured we were extremely pleased with his services. Steven is well versed in Jamaican history and candidly shared his vast knowledge throughout our trip. Steven made a long day on the road well worth it. As huge Bob Marley fans, my wife and I were able to experience the real Jamaica through Stevens. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. We will be back soon and will assuredly request Stevens services again. One Love!
