Even though it was a gray and damp day, even the trip to Seward from Homer was enjoyable and a sighting of an Alaskan Brown Bear along the river bank of the Kenai River outside Cooper Landing was a harbinger of a fine wildlife viewing day. Departing the Seward dock promptly on time on the Orca Voyager (one of the tour companies newest vessels) we were warmly welcomed by the crew and captain of the boat.   "A little early in the season, we took the long cruise (6h) on the 13th of May. Had a wonderful time, got lucky with the wildlife (whales, whale sharks, sealions, seals, otters, eagles, calving glacier)! Good service, acceptable food (plenty if it :-).
