All tours are written and led by an experienced elementary school teacher & licensed tour guide. We offer two different tours daily. "The Port, The Pirates & All the Rest" introduces kids to an overview of New Orleans history, geography and our economy through extensive map study, historically accurate tales from our past and visits to the actual sites where history happened. "The Creole Kids Tour" takes kids back in time to the Golden Era of New Orleans, the 1830s. They'll hear about life for kids who lived at that time: free and enslaved, American and Creole. They'll also receive a half off voucher to tour the inside of a Golden Era mansion in the French Quarter, the Hermann-Grima House. Tours are for kids, 6 - 12 years old. Chaperones are required- but we promise they'll get something out of it as well! Both tours last approximately an hour. « less
