Lincoln Peak Vineyard makes 10 wines (from dry to sweet), all them entirely from grapes grown in the 12-acre vineyard. Lincoln Peak's grape varieties are cold-hardy and make bright and lively wines. The Granstrom family planted 12 acres of cold-hardy grapevines in Vermont's Champlain Valley starting 10 years ago, and Lincoln Peak Vineyard has grown into one of the largest grape producers in the state. We're a family farm devoted to sustainable farming practices and the creation of new and delicious wines. We tend our vines with care, and all our grapes are picked by hand each autumn. We make wine in the barn we built, with meticulous devotion to the best winemaking techniques. We make our wine with our own grapes, and we're committed to 100% Vermont grape wines. We make bright, crisp whites, hearty reds, joyful dry rosés, and some sweet and fruity wines, too. Our wines have won three Best-in-Show awards at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition in the past few years, and we're proud of what we grow and make.

"The waterfall and speed of the water viewed from the little craft and coffee shop above is amazing. You can then stroll down to the pool below the weir and get amazing photos of the water as it rushes over the drop and tumbles headlong down the curve."
"Well organised, and educational trip down the history of the American Cavalry Horse.. Learning about the anatomy that makes it so different, inherited from the first stallion, whose statue stands proud in front of the facility.. and to why the mutation of a shorter spine made this horse so versatile...", to meeting the horses themselves, and learning about the breeding programme.. what a fascinating day..
