DaVallia is an art boutique with a vintage, modern country flair. Walk into our shop, or browse our collections online and you'll find fine handcrafted arts and crafts with character. Each piece has a story, an identity, and a spirit. Each piece is the unique result of a vision, brought to life by an artist's hand. Couple that special character with a function and you've got art for everyday living. DaVallia was established in 2009 by artists, Michael & Jessie Alon. Michael creates art furniture and sculpture from reclaimed wood, steel, and concrete. Jessie handcrafts artisan jewelry using sterling silver, terrazzo, and semi-precious stones. Together they hand-pick and curate the works form an additional 50 artist. DaVallia's collection emulates the quality of finer metropolitan galleries while still rejoicing in the inviting, warming Vermont charm. Located in historic Chester, Vermont.

"We stumbled across DaVillia Art & Accents whilst driving from A to B just after Christmas and needed to stretch our legs halfway. What a delight it was to find such a fantastic, fine arts store in this small country town (a rarity these days given tough economic times). We popped in and ended up sta..."ying way over an hour as each circuit of the store revealed more options to adorn our own home (with something refreshingly different from mass produced products), as well as gifts for our hosts, birthdays and even next Christmas! Every single person who has seen the items from DaVillia that grace our home, has commented on how unique and beautiful they are. This store is an absolute gem. I don't think the item photos on their website do the store justice. If you want something beautiful, unique and amazingly special for yourself or a loved one, don't hesitate to give this place a look in.
Cheers,
Leanne & Rob Hankey

"A must do on your trip whether you are visiting Chester, Okemo, or Killington this is truly a hidden gem. My mother and I were staying at the castle resort in Cavendish for a early Mother's Day getaway when we decided we would love to go horseback riding through the scenic Vermont trails.
Even th..."ough we arrived fairly late on Thursday one of the owners Nancy, was happy to take our reservation and accommodate us on short notice. When we arrived Nancy's business partner, Katie, greeted us with Shana. Shana was quite the jubilant and enthusiastic trail guide. Katie and Shana offered us great advice about places to visit, things to do, and where to dine.
Katie matched us perfectly to our horses who were well trained and gave us a nice ride. The trails are scenic and peaceful and on such a beautiful day we couldn't have asked for anything better.
The ride was about an hour for a walking trail. At 45/piece I felt it was a bargain especially compared to the prices I have seen at other...

"We visited DaVallia for the first time by chance. We will plan to return the next time we are in Chester. It was both a gallery and a shop. There were beautiful handmade items in all price ranges. We learned a lot about the area artists. We brought home a wonderful molded glass bowl which we've ..."used at many of our family dinners. Thank you, Michael, for sharing so much of yourself. It made the visit very special.
