Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I go here frequently through out the summer on day trips. There's a nice beach and day camp areas. My only complaint was last time I went, an unleashed dog attacked my leashed dog. After the altercation, the aggressor was still not put on a leash. The rules clearly state dogs are to be on leash at all times. I wish the park staff were a bit better about enforcing those rules.

The best of Vermont is Feast and Field with plenty of space on a farm for enjoying music and a picnic or food ordered from the farm fresh online menu. Everyone employs social distancing so there's no concern about crowding. Wonderful weekly event that worth going no matter what the weather.

This is it, the pinnacle of rustic and scenic general stores in Vermont.
Everything about this place is special, from it's perfect location across from the pound I've swam in during the summer or floated around in an inner tube to the large selection of items they sell inside. The interior looks like it did 50 years ago or more I'd bet. Yet it's tidy and clean. If everything else wasn't already going for this location it's the food. There is a lot of good sandwich shops in VT. 2nd place being Woodstock Farmers' Market. However Barnard GS takes the prize, once you've had a Mount Hunger you'll never view any other sandwich the same way again.
I love coming here, it's always a special trip. Even when you live in VT year round coming to the Barnard GS makes you feel like a tourist visiting somewhere that could only exist in a movie or a nostalgic memory.
