Hawkridge bird of prey centre is a small family run centre, located within the grounds of the world of country life. Set in over 100 acres of beautiful Devon country side, it is a great backdrop in which to fly our birds. As well as providing flying displays for the park during their open season we also offer courses and experience days, where you get to handle and fly our wonderful birds. These sessions are run by appointment only on a 1-1 basis meaning you get to enjoy a nice relaxing day flying birds at a pace that suits you. Courses and experiences run 365 days a year. ( weather permitting)

An easy, gentle 2.3 mile stroll from Exmouth along the eastern bank of the Exe Estuary, whose mudflats, sandbanks and marshes are of international importance for their wildlife, especially the tens of thousands of resident and migratory waterbirds. Look out for avocets, curlews and lapwings, even seals and otters, and buzzards wheeling overhead. Take time to explore Lympstone before catching the train back to Exmouth.

This moderate 5.4 mile circular walk goes from Exmouth Station out to Littleham Cross, then through countryside out to the South West Coast Path. Passing Orcombe Point and the Geoneedle the walk leads back along the cliff top and past historic buildings in The Beacon.

"Overall a good experience. Better for smaller children under the age of about 10. The two slightly older ones (11 & 12) still had a good day but only because they could play with the two younger ones. Went on a very cold day at Easter and it was difficult to get warm as none of the buildings had ..."any form of heating.
The vintage vehicles were nice to look at and something that you don't normally get with a 'farm' type attraction. It would be great to take the grandparents along with the kids.
I'm sure the falconry display could be good but unfortunately it was very windy and the owls tried to fly to Exeter and they had to finish and go chasing it across the countryside.
Well worth a visit and good value for money.

"We have done just about every cruise that these guys run and have never been disappointed. The crew are friendly and the skipper really cares about his customers. On a fine summers day the trip to Brixom and Torquay is peerless. Go on, give it a go."
"Lovely park with all sorts of attractions:
- Amazing newly refurbished skate park
- Outdoor gym equipment all around the park that's great fun for a free work out
- Free to use multi use games area that was new last year. You can play 5 a side, basketball, netball.
- Pay to use tennis courts tha..."t were resurfaced last year
- Small play areas for younger kids
- One of the large oak trees here fell down and they turned it into something kids can play on
- Pay to use pitch and putt
- Small cafe
- Popular place for dog walking!
I live near this park and use it with my family all the time, it's not a normal park as there's a lot to do! The only thing that spoils it is when people don't pick up after their dogs, so if you take your dog here please scoop that poop!!!
