"the light house is owned and operated by the coast guard.
the view that surrounds the light house is worth the visit, being how it is just around the corner from the beach and many places to eat and shop that may bring you into the area.
my sister is a collector and addicted to viewing light houses ..."so for her it is worth the trip just to go for the light house alone.

"I have only been to this beach a couple of times during the day and found it to be crowded, but clean . parking is limited but the area and the stone wall to sit on is nice. traveling from the north this beach is closer and much easier to get to than the other beaches just a bit south.
my husband a..."nd I enjoy going to this beach in the evening, it is quiet , peaceful , and dark enough just for a bit of privacy to sit and cuddle. the sounds of the ocean with a blanket of stars is breath taking.
