- L A J33 contributionsHubby and I took the ferry over to Put In Bay from Kelley's Island (where we were staying) on a Saturday. It was crowded but not too horrible. We didn't rent a golfcart and just decided to walk around town, and I'm so glad we did because otherwise we would have been sitting in golfcart traffic. The amount of golfcarts on the roads was incredible. We enjoyed visiting the shops and listening to the bands at various restaurants. All the bands we heard were very good. We had lunch at The Keys which was decent and the music there was Tobi Lee from Nashville and she was very good. Put In BAy is THE place for the younger (20 & 30s) crowd for sure. Hubby and I are in our early 60s but we still enjoyed it. After several hours at downtown Put In Bay, we were ready to go back to the quiet relaxed atmosphere of Kelley's Island!Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nataly02Columbus, OH144 contributionsWe picked a great day for the island. The winery was easy to find, the staff were knowledgeable and kind. I had two peach slushes, and my hubby did a red wine flight. They have some seating in the building but the back patio and front porch were the place to be. They have some food but I’m not sure what all there was because we didn’t eat. I did try the chocolate wine and it was pretty good. We met a nice couple celebrating their anniversary and in the back of the building across the driveway was was a really cute little boutique shop. If you are into wine it’s worth the stopWritten 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- nataly02Columbus, OH144 contributionsThis is worth the stop. It’s $12.00 a person to get in but I thought it was worth it. The gift shop is very nice, once you are done looking around it you enter a set of double doors and into the garden. It’s very warm in there and the butterflies are all over. It’s a really quiet pretty place with the bushes, flowers and butterflies. We were there on a Friday afternoon in October so the kids were in school and the island was not crowded at all my hubby and I had the garden to ourselves for over an hour.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MainladyBeaver, PA129 contributionsThis was our first stop on our wine tour day & it looked more like a German beer house than a winery. Looks can be deceiving because there is a hidden gem called the crystal cave that you can tour for $10. This did not disappoint, and I highly recommend it. It’s very fascinating to see the treasure they have under ground! I have to say the wine was not my favorite, but it still was a great experience with friendly staff & outdoor seating. Worth the stop & experience!Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We also bought a Geode that they cracked open for us. Very cool and I like it more than I thought I would. I’d do it again.Written 17 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JBH409 contributionsWe arrived just about 10 minutes until closing. The website said it was open longer. Since we didn't have much time to look around, one of the ladies let us go in for free. They needed to catch the ferry to get back, so we were very fast in our looking. There seems to be a lot of information. If you aren't interested in history or the island, then it may not be a good stop for you. If you are, we recommend taking a look.Written 30 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CincinnatiCelesteCincinnati128 contributionsThe day we had a golf cart, we went to the light house. Per someone else's review, we got some subs from subway in town and brought our lunch. There are several picnic tables on the site so it was nice to be on the edge of the cliff and watch the water and eat lunch. There are several signs around the grounds to read. But without lunch, you can cover it all in 10 minutes. But it is worth going out to if you have a golf cart.Written 16 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nataly02Columbus, OH144 contributionsThe museum was just a room with lots to look at and read. They had a large selection of chocolate items to chose from, ice cream and coffee. We just looked around and left. The cakes looked good and they had a nice selection of chocolate covered items.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
