The Straz Center began as a dream by visionary citizens of Tampa who persevered to bring to reality one of the finest performing arts centers in the nation. It is many things to many people and it’s more than just a building, more than just a performing arts center. It is a presenter, a producer, an educator, a community partner and an economic engine for the Tampa Bay area. It is a cornerstone of the Tampa Bay community. The Straz Center creates a regional economic impact of more than $100 million each year. To our local economy it can mean more tourists staying in hotels, eating in restaurants, shopping in stores and visiting other venues when they are here. At both the local and national level, it provides access to more than 700,000 people of all ages, abilities and cultures each year. It also provides jobs for artists and other professionals who have a passion for the arts and for our mission.

"This park always gets 10/10 since our first trip in 2004. The new cheetah ride is fantastic and complements the other thrill rides whilst in keeping with the rest of the park. As with Sea World the first priority of this park appears to be the welfare of the animals with the other attractions taking..." second stage. We last went in February 2013 and whilst not the hottest day the park was only part full so we had plenty of time to cover all the areas. The food outlets are superb with our favourite being the "Desert Grill" where if you time it right you can sit and eat great value food whilst watching a stunning stage show.......Special BBQ event weekends are great fun with real southern cooking and beer tasting (pity I was driving so just looked on in envy). Lots to do and very friendly staff makes this In our opinion, the Best Park in Florida!

"We have been to movie theaters before that serve food and drinks but CineBistro takes it to the next level. First and foremost there is nothing better than enjoying a pitcher of your favorite draft adult beverage while enjoying the latest blockbuster. The seating is exactly like a normal stadium sea..."ting movie theater but with oversized leather chairs and pull over lap tables. The baked goat cheese with balsamic reduction was excellent. Shrimp mac and cheese average. Large portion sizes so splitting is definitely an option. Gratuity is added to your bill (which you pay when they take your order). Experience Enhancer: all seats have great viewing angles so pick one near the theater exit side because after a pitcher of magic hat #9 you will have to use the bathroom (twice). Will return, will bring friends, will recommend

"This is my second time visiting Lettuce Lake and it was beautiful as usual. The water level was distressingly low but it didn't stop us from seeing alligators, many many birds, lizards, turtles, fish, butterflies, etc. I was disappointed the tower was closed for repairs "indefinitely". "
