We carry dozens of exotic species at our facility with many available for interactive activities involving our guests. The five acre zoo houses everything from domestic animals and primates to large predatory birds and mammals. Some of our popular selection of exotic petting zoo animals are Gibbon Apes, Sloths, Lemurs, owls, snakes, Anteater, Lions, Snow Leopards, and mischievous Capuchin monkeys – like those used in many movies. However, our cutest addition to our exotic petting zoo has to be our tiger cub. No one can resist her adorable charms.The Zoological Wildlife Foundation offers private and exclusive tours by appointment. Contact us to schedule a special tour with our exotic animals! It's an experience you will never forget.Please note: all of our tours are private and scheduled by appointment only. Tours must be prepaid and booked in advance. For over 60 years, the Museum's award-winning educational programs, family-focused exhibits, historic planetarium, and rehabilitative Wildlife Center and Clinic have enriched locals and tourists alike. In 2015, the legacy continues, when we move to a new world-class, state-of-the-art facility and become the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in the heart of downtown Miami. The Museum will remain operational at its current location on South Miami Avenue until completion of the new building. Miami Science Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.Miami Science Museum is located at 3280 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33129. The Museum is open every day from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Admission is free for MiaSci members and children under 3; students (with valid ID), seniors (62+) and children 3 – 12, $10.95; adults are $14.95. Parking is free.Miami Science Museum is funded with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
