"We always loving stoping here while we are visiting family in the valley. Make sure you go early in the morning if you don't want to be bothered by others. Always a great time with a few beers and going during the winter."
"Snowmass is a nicely compact village, connected by free public gondolas. It was so easy to get around and get the kids to their lessons in the morning. It was the first time for my 5-year-old and after the first day she begged me to change her half-day lessons into full days because she was having s..."o much fun and felt like she was really learning to ski. My older son had a terrific experience in a class with just one other kid. They could have grouped him in with another group, but pulled these two boys out so that they could be taught at exactly their level. Adult classes conveniently start about 15 minutes later. The instructors were really connected to the class and I was super impressed with the quality of instruction, organization and care for safety.

There are always adults with small children on every chair. The area has terrain for all levels, its easy for fathers to relive their youth in extreme double black terrain, confident that the kids are being handled well, while attending to wife with intermittent encounters for lunch or an occasional run on blue. Many of the blue runs also have very pleasant alternate descents through trees and powder, making skiing with the wife less of a task, ...
