The winery was a little out of the way from the main North/South route and is a little west of Salida. It was nice because we were the only ones there w..."hen we stopped so we didn't have to contend with the crowds in town. They don't grow any of their own grapes. All were purchased from other locations and then the wines were made there on site. They have a very simple set up. When you walk in you can see where the wine is made and they have a small counter for tasting and that's about it. Nothing fancy. We checked them out online before making plans to travel out of the way, but we like sweet wines and they offered a decent selection. We purchased 3 different wines to take home. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even made good suggestions of what to do it town. We enjoyed the stop. " More >
