"We went in January 2013 with another family of four. It is a very family friendly place. We really enjoyed ourselves but it is a very very expensive place to go - which you probably would know if you can even afford to go there. I know it's Starbuck's hot chocolate but each time we took the kids in ..."for a break, 2 hot chocolates and a bag of chips or a cookie and we'd be $25-30 poorer! The lift tickets are also pricey and the ski lessons are ridiculously priced - so much so that we didn't even bother enrolling our kids in lessons which we always do at other ski resorts. I guess I'm too money conscious to truly enjoy skiing at Beaver Creek. But otherwise, the heated walkways and elevators are amazing. The chocolate chip cookies were great when you got it fresh and warm. And the staff very friendly and helpful.

"My super duper black diamond or whatever you call it ski family loved the runs. I myself am a bad nervous skier. Beaver Creek ski area and town accommodated all of us, when I ached after more lessons!! I shopped and went to the spa while they all carried on skiing"
