Morro Bay Golf Course is often referred to as “Poor Man’s Pebble Beach” and is a “must play”. The course offers stunning panoramic ocean views from just about every hole. This “player-friendly” 18-hole public course has tree lined fairways and hilly terrain placing a premium on club selection.

"Drove to parking lot at end of road to Morro Rock. There is a nice little beach to explore and great views of nesting gulls and other birds at low elevations in the huge rock."
"Please do your part and help support this community aquarium. Only $2 donation. Besides the seals there is quite a nice display of sea life in the tanks.
Apparently their lease will be expiring soon and the city wants the property for a hotel so go visit and sign the petition."
"My family wanted me to tell you Disneyland was SO much better, but then that would be lying. The beauty of untouched Morro Bay is exquisite, and the location cannot be beaten. Bird- watching is a favorite, and watching for wildlife keeps kids entertained, so you don't have to listen to " I want a ju..."ice box" repetitively. Black Hill, really Morro Bay's only short hiking spot, provides amazing views all the way to Montana De Oro and the back bay, just try not to get poison oak. All in all, It would be worth skipping Disneyland to come to Morro Bay, just don't tell my dad I said that!
