The premise behind the creation of K1 Speed was to offer enthusiasts and amateurs alike an authentic and genuine racing experience in a safe, comfortable, accessible and perhaps most importantly, unique environment. Utilizing advanced European electric karts and indoor asphalt tracks, K1 Speed quickly developed a reputation as being fun and exciting, and our growth has been continuous since we first opened our doors. In addition to our Arrive and Drive racing option, which allows individuals to visit our indoor karting centers anytime and experience the thrill of racing, we also offer racing leagues and a variety of packages for corporate events and group parties, which have proven quite popular. To meet the needs of customers and kart racing enthusiasts who demand more, we also have a Pro Shop - K1 Race Gear - which carries everything that a karter might need to compete at the track. At K1 Speed, our goal is to be synonymous with karting, and we think that we are on our way!

"We were a party of 3 (mom, grandma and 5yr. old Lego fan) during Spring Break. We want to return when the weather is warmer and we won't mind getting wet. Some of the wet attractions were closed anyway, but we enjoyed many of the attractions and especially the Star Wars Lego displays. However, the L..."ego Factory needs some TLC! Overall, a great place to explore that wasn't too busy.

"If you hate driving the Southern California Freeways as much as I do but want to see all the attractions, take the Coaster, the commuter train starting in Oceanside and ending at the Santa Fe Station in downtown San Diego. The cost of a round trip ticket from Oceanside is $5 for those over 60 and $..."11 for those over 6. Disabled passengers get the over 60 rate. Rates are reduced the closer you begin to the San Diego station. Once off the train you're downtown and there are buses across the street that will take you to Balboa Park, the airport, or almost anywhere. The red line will take you to the border. If you want a romantic trip across the bay to Coronado island, walk 3 blocks to the pier and purchase a round trip ticket for $8.50 per adult. No charge for bikes. The ferry leaves the Broadway terminal on the hour and Coronado on the half hour. There are ample inexpensive and more expensive restaurants in Seashore Village right by the ferry pier. San Diego does rapid transit as well a...

"Their salsa alone is worth the trip! Their tacos and fajitas are pretty great too! My grandpa loves to go here on karaoke nights. A lot of people come for the great variety of tequilas. The service varies over the years and can largely depend on what time of day and what day you are there. Popular n..."ights are not known for great service! I think it's ideal around lunch time though!
