  "This was a last minute trip, could not have ask for a better time....from beginning to end...the ocean side condo was clean & well maintained. The beach of clean white sand with the emerald green waves was so relaxing...from our view from the spacious balcony we saw schools of dolphins as we sit wit..."h our morning cup of coffee... We all loved building and digging in the sand; jumping the wave and riding the waves with boogie-boards; we saw crabs, sand-dollars, fish jumping. As we parasailed we do believe we saw a shark down below :) what an adventure we had....there was also an evacuation of the building we were in from the report of a fire in one of the units...it was a false alarm...but it was comforting to know that if it had been a true emergency we were well informed and all was carried out in a very orderly manner.   "Gulf Shores was our second beach stop during our visit to the Mobile area. Save the best for last would be the appropriate term. WE LOVED IT! We arrived on a Sunday so that might have helped out with the traffic but whatever the case,the public beach was great. I have always been a Panama City Beach..." man but we have a new favorite.   "Cub Scout Camp Out!"
  "We had a very good time camping out with the cub scouts here. We were placed on the same lot as where a camper might park, but we just set up our tent on the grassy part. There's a picnic table, a water spicket, and an electricity hook up. The bathouse was right down from where we camped and it w..."as super clean. The pool here is superb - and there is even a very nice splash area for the younger kids. Our cub scouts enjoyed it too! We went to the nature conservation center and got to see and pet an owl, there were other animals on display there as well. We went on a guided nature tour and saw an alligotor in the waters. We also found out about another alligator with three legs that had seven babies along another walking trail and we took our scouts to find her. We were not disappointed! Also saw a bobcat cross the trail in front of us heading toward the woods. Very neat! We enjoyed the beach access, as well. The only thing we were disappointed in was that our boys did ... " More >
