She provided some useful information and showed us the best way to see the three pits, but I think we could have managed without her. She was a bit difficult to understand at times, and toward the end she led us to the gift shop and sat us down for a sales pitch at a jade counter. After that we dismissed her and wandered back to the pits for a more leisurely visit. There are signs in English and most of what the guide told us could be acquired from the signs.
