We then were Shown how coconut was scraped to make into coconut milk and got us to try it out for ourselves which was pretty cool (I wasn't sure if I was doing it the right way, but the host looked impressed). We then went on to the cooking stations to begin the class. The dishes were pretty easy to get the hang of. I was surprised how straight forward the local food is to make. We did a Fijian desert using a relative of the banana called vudi, then a fish dish with coconut milk, then we did a couple of local curries.
