  "This was a really fun boat trip and jungle adventure with Percy. On our way toward Monkey River, Percy stopped the boat for a while because there were dolphins swimming around. He is really good at spotting them and telling you where to look. Along the tour we saw lots of cool birds and bats (yes...", bats that live on the river NOT in caves! They are cute and small.) and turtles. Once we got to the forest, it took a while but we did see several howler mokeys up in the trees. After our tour we stopped at Percy's mom's restaurant and had a typical Belizean meal of rice, beans, and chicken. It was fine. On the boat trip back we stopped and saw Manatees. Percy was very helpful in letting us know where to look because they only come to the surface briefly before heading back down. I really had a good time. " More >

  "This would be my first review on Trip Advisor. I was very impressed with Splash Dive, in Placencia, Belize. Splash Dive is an excellent dive shop. I've been scuba diving throughout the Caribbean for 30 years. Patty and Ralph run a very professional PADI dive facility in Placencia. Which is in..." the southern area of this beautiful country. I was in Belize for 10 weeks this winter, mostly diving. All of the people working at Splash Dive were very friendly and extremely helpful. Their boats and dive gear, is new and well maintained. I would recommend this dive centre to any diver. Soon Im told they will be operating a training centre. Im sure it will be run in the same professional manner as their dive centre. " More >
