"We really enjoyed the museum. Take the guided tour, the guide we had provided great commentary and kept everyone entertained.
We loved the dinosaurs the museum had displayed out front and the inside displays were well set up for families. Not too long, so kids stayed interested and enjoyed it. ..." Kids liked completing the quiz sheets and loved getting the prize at the end.
Gift shop had good variety and was reasonably priced. Plenty of free car parking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only downside was no cafe or picnic area

"It's a small park, with a playground and some BBQ facilities. The trees there are leafy and very colorful in autumn. If you're expecting a quite and romantic place to have a nice picnic, you won't regret it."
"This place was Cloud 9 for our 4-year old. We had to visit twice in a row because she just would not leave this place. They had a large collection of dinosaurs that looked real and some of them have sensors that activate movement and sounds. The souvenir shop had so much variety and there were a ..."couple of spots where kids can play. The staff were very knowledgeable and very friendly. They also had fossils, various stones and even jewelry for sale, Dino Dan's DVDs, plush dinosaur toys, gadgets, key rings, etc. Kids can just spend hours and hours here. There was a lot of dinosaurs out in the lawn as well. We had a grand time taking photos. Cockington Green Gardens in just a stone's throw away.
