After the tour lunch was called for so back to aforementioned restaurant with its magnificent array of foodstuffs. A good lunch had by all. The afternoon was spent strolling through the glorious gardens - although if we had been a couple of weeks later they would have been out in their full glory - and the West Lawn & it's environs. Although there were some VERY sharp showers we were lucky enough to have been inside when they happened! The Avoca outlet was also very well stocked but disappointingly not with any Avoca clothing to the standard I have come to expect of it from visits to other venues.
