The Woad Centre is a farming diversification where plant pigments are grown and processed; specialising in woad indigo. A FREE exhibition on woad production and textile shop are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10am to 4pm, from Spring to Christmas.Ian and Bernadette Howard have been working with woad for seven years and dye a range of throws, cushions, towels, jumpers, jackets and accessories, as well as offering woad-based toiletries for sale at The Woad Centre shop.
