"The first May bank holiday we spent a lovely 3 hours at The Monkey Sanctuary Looe what a delightful place - enthusiastic knowledgeable keepers and friendly staff. The monkeys are happy and looked after so well all have cheeky names and the two 8 year old girls with us loved them. Lovely gardens wi..."th secret paths so we were told by the girls - art and craft things for the children to do - making cow's was the order of the day with the black and white material toilet rolls egg boxes and glue all provided in an arts and craft area so impressed. This is a charitable organisation no government help so great to support such dedicated people. Please go you will not regret it! The girls are going to talk to their teacher about raising funds lovely to hear from the young!

"The monkey sanctuary is only small, but the staff are really knowledgeable and keen to share stories and information with you. There's a little cafe selling vegetarian and vegan food, it's not super swanky but it's nice for a little snack, and they sell lovely cider! There are lots of monkeys in bea..."utiful big enclosures, some people have complained about not being see the monkeys very easily, but I would suggest it's better to see just a few monkeys and know they are well cared for and happy as opposed to seeing many monkeys in a too small enclosure. There's lots of interesting things to be learned even without seeing all of the monkeys!
