"I visited SS Great Britain on a sunny day in April. The visit starts in the attraction shop and has a clearly marked route around allowing you to see the ship from literally all angles. It touches on the construction, operation and disposal of a grand old ship. I was amazed at the history and intere..."sted in the ongoing work to preserve her. My wife found the ship life really interesting while the engineering side caught my imagination. I can imagine that children could find the trip fun with lots of detail that only children notice. I would recommend a visit and as the ticket is valid for a year it could be a repeated experience.

"As a retirement present, my wife and I decided to join a good gym. We were already members of a local council-run health centre which was OK but lacked in 'pamper' facilities like a sauna, swimming pool, restaurant etc. So we spent a few days touring the entire Dartford/Gravesend/Bexley area and ..."settled on David Lloyd Dartford - although what nearly put us off - and thank goodness they didn't - were some of the awful reviews on this and other websites ...?? Now, 4 months later with an average of 3 visits a week under our belts, neither of us can find the tiniest fault with the place. It's clean, friendly; the equipment's really well maintained and the staff are almost over-helpful - always willing to listen, whatever the problem or query. There are lots of nice little touches like having drinking water fountains throughout, if you forget your towel and they'll happily lend you one - without deposit - and showers so powerful you feel guilty running it for more than a few seconds!...

"Near city centre, bottom of Park Street with lots of restaurants and shops. Outside cathedral. Lots of benches to sit down and relax if weather is nice. "
