"They have done a remarkable job with the Railway Museum. Real cars to walk through, fantastic pictures of amazing mountain construction, lots of variety. If you have time in Revelstoke we would highly recommend you take an hour or two to see this museum."
"There are great trails going up the mountains for the more adventerous or beautiful picnic areas like Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk when you just want to relax. "
"Mt. Revelstoke is one of the smaller Canadian National Parks, but well worth a stop off the Trans-Canada Hwy for a few pleasant hours of hiking or just a drive up the "Meadows in the Sky Parkway" (which, unfortunately, was still closed for snow removal about halfway up at the time of our visit). Th..."ere are gentle walks (e.g., at Inspiration Woods) or far more strenuous ones (e.g., a 10k uphill climb to the summit -- which we didnt try).
