"The Rising Sun II Catamaran 3 hour snorkel/sail cruise from the Dockyard in Bermuda on June 6 was the highlight of our cruise to Bermuda. I saw reviews and knew my husband and I had to do it, weather permitting. Sunshine greeted us all 3 days on the island so we booked the trip on our Celebrity crui..."se ship (told we should do it this way by the helpful and friendly folks in the little hut by the marina). I had also traded emails with Amy before the trip and she was very helpful. Squid was an incredible tour guide. Funny, but very informative. All the passengers on the cruise were fun and easy going. There were newlyweds from Maine and people from all over the world. One big party. The water was clear and refreshing. We both kayaked for the first time and they even had a "prescription" snorkel mask for me!!! Some friends we met on our cruise ship were taking this tour for the 4th time. Says a lot about how great the crew of the Rising Sun II is. Next trip to Bermuda we will be back for a...

"We spent an afternoon fishing with Capt Mike and his son Andrew. Five people- myself, wife, kids-13,10, and 4. My wife had never picked up a fishing rod, yet alone catch a fish. She was one of the first to pull one in! We had a blast and caught close to 50 fish during our 4 hr excursion. The ent..."ire family caught fish. Capt Mike and Andrew were great hosts- baiting the hooks, untangling lines, and helping the children pull in the fish. They were very friendly and genuine. They are both native Bermudians and share stories of the island, talking about shipwrecks, fishing, etc. Make sure to ask them plenty of questions, as they like to keep the conversation going throughout the trip. Cost is very reasonable considering all you get. This was the best experience our family had during our visit to Bermuda.

"Tempted to keep quiet on this one as its a good swimming beach and family friendly but mostly it is the locals who use it, the tourists go elsewhere - and thats what keeps it nice! No facilities so best for dropping by for quick dip then back to base for change of clothes. Not really any good for s..."norkelling. Not fierce enough for surfing. Body boards and children safe.
