"There are a lot of great spots to get views of Tokyo (Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Mori Tower), but this one is the best because it's free! It's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station but otherwise, isn't too hard to find.
The view is a 360 one and on a clear day you can see Mt. Fuji. It's closed on Tuesda..."ys so don't go on that day :)

"If you're staying in the Yotsuya area check out the free Fire Museum.
PROS:
Lots of interesting displays and history on firefighting
Can sit in some of the trucks
Can dress up as a firefighter!
Free photo
Cute gift shop
Friendly staff
CONS:
Lots of stairs and slow elevator
The museum is very eas..."y to find; it's right next to the Yotsuya Sanchome subway station.

"Out of all the places we visited in Tokyo, Shinjuku really feels like the heart of it. Shinjuku station is huge and there are tons of shops, bars, cafes, and countless activities. The area also houses the Gyoen Gardens which are a beautiful break from the bustling city.
We stayed just outside the m..."ain area of Shinjuku in Yotsuya and I was extremely happy we did. There's a great nightlife so it's fun to walk to in the evening. If you go to Tokyo for any amount of time, Shinjuku should be on your list to visit.
