It is an amusing place, i.e. the merecats don't know which country they live in. It is lovely to see the animals and amazing that they are in this part of the country. Well worth the money. More

Adults and children alike can have a really fantastic day at SLWP. You get up close to the animals, and to see feeding time of the tigers and penguins was just wonderful. They are so into preservation that you learn loads, and I would highly recommend More

I must admit when i arrived and saw the prices i thought shall we bother. But when we entered the park and there were monkey's in tree's and parrots and other wildlife roaming about it was great. We went as a party of 5 with two young children and we all really enjoyed it. We had food there also which... More

This place is the best animal park I have ever been to. Even if you are visiting the north of the Lake District, it's worth the drive to the South. We arrived at 11am and didn't leave until the park closed at 5pm. The feeding timetables of the animals are perfectly timed so you can see all of them. We... More

Ideal place to take the kids and not too expensive. There is so much to see and do. Most of the animals roam free which is pretty cool rather than being caged up. Very funny seeing the lemar's walking about ! a must go More

We visited here due to having friends with two young children but all five adults thought the whole area excellent - obviously the children adored every minute. We liked the fact that the lemurs and other monkeys could wander around in between us, along the paths or hang about in the trees just above our heads, the whole area felt... More

Standard of the park is very high, all the animals looked well cared for and it was very clean. It didnt have... More

We visited this park on Bank Holiday Monday - the weather could have been better - it was very cold and wet at times, but despite this, we loved this park and thought it was a fantastic day out. This is much better than any zoo or safari park we have visited before, as you really can get up close... More
