West Bay Beach was awesome. The water clarity was unlike any water I've seen before. You didn't need to leave the beach for amazing snorkling. We saw all kinds of fish including a sea turtle. The sand was the softest sand I've ever walked on. All in all I'd say one of the best beaches I've ever been to.

Nice snorkeling in Mandy's Eel Garden just off the beach, although there is much better snorkeling at some of the dive sites that are accessible by boat. There is no way to avoid all the beach vendors and women hawking massage services, which can get a little annoying.

Beautiful beach, with out of this world snorkeling. Some of the vendors can be a PITA (the lady hawking massages every 10 minutes comes to mind), but the beach itself is spectacular.

The sand and water are gorgeous - top shelf tropical beach. The price you pay is that how dominated it is by large hotels and condo operations. If you got the very far end by the limestone cliffs it is quieter and there is good snorkelling

Snorkeling awesome! Watch out for peddlers hawking massages and watches. Take the water taxi $3 each to west end for souvenirs.

One of my favorite places that I have visited. If you like small crowds and few cruise ships then late May is the time to go.
