I deeply recomend going to the snow village because it´s cheap big and beautiful. The tickets for an adult costs 10 euros and for a child ( 4-14 years old ) 5 euros. The hotel rooms were beautifully designed but i would´nt recomend an overnight stay because it is probably expensive and cold. Read more about lainio snowvillage on this... More

This was an Amazing adventure for me and my husband. We were Married there on February 10, 2012. The staff at the hotel were all amazing Heini was the best Wedding Planner and hostess there. I absolutely loved the hotel staff especially AKA Mr. Smiley ... little Sandro... WE cannot wait to go back in about 2 years for a... More

I don't normally write these sort of things but after reading the last review I thought I should for the sake of balance. We stayed in the Snow Village for 7 nights. This comprised of 1 night in the actual Snow Village, 2 nights in their Tepee, Our Wedding and 4 nights in a cabin. Everything was booked before hand... More

This hotel is a huge joke and I would not recommend it to anyone -- unless you enjoy camping like amenities, staying in the middle of no where, dealing with rude staff, and sleeping in dirty sleeping bags. Go to the Ice Hotel in Sweden if you want to have a vacation. The ice hotel in Sweden is lovely. Anyone... More

The Snow Village is a truly magical place. Travel there in the dark, and not only can you wonder at the stunning sculptures and enjoy your vodka at the ice bar, but you can also marvel at the stunning lighting effects throughout. My particular favourites were the ice and fire corridors and the chapel. If you're getting married here this... More

Wow the Snow Village is truly mind-blowing. It's so beautiful, all of the luxury rooms have these amazing like snow and ice carvings on the wall, like a face, polar bears, anchors. The beds are mad, made completely out of ice but when you touch it, it's not wet! It's literally mind boggling to visit. We got a taxi from... More

My first impression of the snow village was that it was a bit small. I was expecting a village with loads of buildings but its just 1 building with about 20 bedrooms, a bar, a table, a poker table and a chapel. Its good to see, don't get me wrong the work and effort that goes in to it is... More

Visited The Snow Village on Snowmobiles, which took us about 2hours from Askompolo, very much set up for tourists. Though a lot of hard work involved, there is a restaurant there, we had a coffee. The Ice Hotels rooms had different themes in some, but a few areas has spillage of what looked like Ribena, spoilt the purity of the... More
