Living in Berko we are privileged to be able to walk to this excellent venue for watching popular films. Yes, it does sell out quickly, especially in the evenings, but you can normally get in at a matinee. Very comfortable seating, good refreshments and a good quality afternoon or evening entertainment

Took my son to see Jack the giant killer, absolutely brilliant. Lots of leg room, nice and clean and not too expensive... Can't wait to go again

We were taken here while visiting friends and got a table down the front. Such a nice cinema and being able to have a drink while watching the film was great. Really enjoyable experience and great value.

What a treat this place is, no wonder it is so hard to book, go to the cinema here and you will not want to go anywhere else.

Interesting variety of films; good value; pleasant bar (but could do better quality wines); good monthly brochure; interesting introductions by proprietor

Beautiful period cinema decorated in true deco style, sumptious seating and great atmosphere. it's very hard to get tickets unless you are a member or live in the town, though. We booked seats in the front area which are like swivel armchairs, grouped around little tables with red lamps on them. You can order food or nibbles to eat while... More

What a beautiful cinema, really comfortable seating and do ask for a 'table' which creates a really created ambience, somewhere to put your beer or bottle of wine and plate of cheese and biscuits! A really super experience- which could only be enhanced by having more showings of current films- so we can get a table!
