A good review of the history of Batoche. Nice walking tour and very well explained by the tour guides. A must for Saskatchewan residents. More

Batoche is a really neat place that I have visited a few times over the years. An area that played a huge role in the 1885 Northwest rebellion holds a great deal of history and is a place all prairie person should visit at least once! More

Great historical significance to this part of the country. Foxholes and open battlefields. Not alot of cover. More

Batoche is the site of the Metis Resistence of 1885. The church and rectory are beautifully preserved. The church has been restored but the rectory still has bullet holes from the battle.
